The area’s newest Halloween celebration begins Friday, September 19, at EnterTRAINment Junction in West Chester. Featuring family fun during the day and “extreme fright at night,” it’s the new entertainment attraction’s first-ever Halloween celebration, It’s all part of the total family entertainment experience awaiting children, teens, parents and grandparents at EnterTRAINment Junction, the only train-themed family entertainment center on the planet. EnterTRAINment Junction’s beautiful 1930s-era Main Street area during the entire fall season will be decked out in autumn colors and decorated with scarecrows, hay bales and Halloween bunting. Jack-O-Lantern Junction Is Family Friendly During the daytime, Jack-O-Lantern Junction is perfect for children, parents and grandparents. This creative walk-through experience presents the fun of Halloween in a kid-friendly, themed environment, where little ghouls and goblins can roam a well-lit maze through an old Victorian village, cobwebs and “haunted” rooms. Then they can walk through a mirror maze, clown room, a room with a chain-link maze and a wind tunnel, all in a low-scare environment. Halloween treats for the kids, too! Jack-o-Lantern Junction is open daily beginning September 19 through November 2. Hours are 11 a.m.-5 p.m. every day except Sunday, when hours are noon-5 p.m. Admission is $8. Junction Nightmare Is Unleashed Terror When the sun goes down, the fear factor soars on the scream-o-meter! Junction Nightmare presents two different, extremely intense, walk-through mazes only the very brave dare to enter! Two mazes for one low price! More than 30 costumed monsters of every ilk have bedlam on their minds as they search for victims through a terrifying darkness filled with blinking lights, dense fog and creepy rooms with no escape. Junction Nightmare is open for weekend operations Friday and Saturday nights September 19-20 and September 26-27. For the entire month of October (through November 1), Junction Nighmare is open Thursday-Friday-Saturday-Sunday nights. Hours of operation begin at 7 p.m., with closing times varying depending on the day of the week. (See website www.entertrainmentjunction.com for details). Admission to Junction Nightmare is $15 with a special “Fast-Pass” available for $25. The Fast-Pass allows visitors immediate access to Junction Nightmare without waiting in queue lines. Located in suburban West Chester, EnterTRAINment Junction is the ONLY railroad-themed family entertainment center on the planet! The new, $10 million project features an incredible 80,000 square-feet of unmatched family fun, all under one roof. There is something for everyone at EnterTRAINment Junction.
